Cancellation and Refund Policy

This event is a significant fundraiser for our school, therefore cancelling this event will only be made if there are significant concerns involved. Only in circumstances where we as the organisers need to cancel this event, shall refunds be given.

 

*Covid restrictions - any cancellation will be made as soon as we are aware that any Government imposed Covid restrictions make it impossible for us to continue with our event on the given day. Refunds will be given to all paid entries, and this will be the total fee minus a $5 admin charge. Please be advised we will not be providing refunds to those who are unable to attend due to having Covid or having to isolate as a contact of a known case.

*Weather - This year is the first time we have had to cancel an event due to unexpected flooding. Should we expect another adverse weather event to occur that may cause flooding, notice of cancellation will be made on Saturday 5th March. Refunds will be given to all paid entries, and this will be the total fee minus a $5 admin charge. This event will however continue to go ahead in otherwise wet conditions. It is the rider 's responsibility to decide upon entering, if he/she wishes to take part given the above information. 

 

We will provide notice of cancellation through our Makuri Trail Ride Facebook page, BushRiders Facebook page, Silver bullet and direct email.
